http://www.wowarmory.com/character-shee ... anis&n=Flx1: Explain how you see your role in a raid and what you use to fill that role. (class strengths, glyphs, mods, talent spec, etc.), also do you have any off-spec experience? At the moment most of my gear pve wise is centered around restoration so I will discuss resto first. To begin, as a shaman in a 25 man raid my main purpose is to aid in raid heals while backing up tank heals(mostly pertaining to earth shield). As a shaman i can take advantage of my totems, making sure to drop totems that are both useful to the encounter as well as in the correct position to maximize their usage. This does include placing mana tide next to other healers or ranged casters. Resto, when completely optimized, brings a great AoE heal as well as useful instants and quick big heals which can greatly help out in tight situations, and of course the ever important blood lust. All in all the changes to totems as well as to other resto mechanics has greatly increased both its joy to play and effectiveness as far as raid healing goes(though there is some more room to grow

).
As far as off spec goes i currently pvp as ele, hopefully going to get 2k this week for s8. I have some experience with ele PvE as well as enhancement. I do enjoy dpsing as elemental and see elemental as a great caster dps who brings alot to the raid(including lust). I could see myself gearing up an offspec(or main spec if needed) elemental set which i would be able to play with skill, and as i get more comfortable increase my dps.
2: What is the one thing you wish you could change about your main class or spec, either to make you more effective or to make it more enjoyable to play? If there was one thing i could change about shamans it would have to be in general the specs. Though the specs are fine at the momment, in my opinion specs seem to have left behind totems and moved on to new spells. If blizz was to change the specs to increasing buffs to totems, such as a streamlined and buffed mana/sp totem combination for restoration, a haste/crit/dmg totem for elemental, and a melee haste/ap/crit for enhance, the whole concept of a shaman would return to a more lore based and in my humble opinion a much more enjoyable class to play.
3: Explain your biggest strength and biggest weakness as a raider. How are you working to improve on this weakness? My biggest strength would have to be my competitive nature which pushes me to achieve top charts, best gear, and best knowledge of encounters. My greatest weakness is also my competitive nature which can drive me to sometimes be angry with players who are not trying as hard or just don't care. I constantly try to calm myself down, and I have greatly lessened my nerd rage.
4: Explain what you look for in a raiding guild. Examples of what you did and did not like about previous raiding guilds would be helpful. Please also elaborate upon what appeals to you about this guild. If applicable, explain why you are leaving your current guild.
A raiding guild to me is not a pug. In other words players are skilled knowledgeable and ready to do what it takes to get the job done. In past guilds these traits in players has helped me enjoy the game much more as well as progress through content. I think a raid guild needs a skilled officer/gm combination that knows both how to reprimand and to have fun. Without this combination a guild can not succeed in a way that I believe it should. Raid leaders NEED to be able to kick or yell at players who are not doing their job.
5: Detail your availability. How frequently do you miss raids? How frequently will you be late or need to leave early? What do you do when you are not raiding? I'm available from 3 ST to around 12-1ST every day(my schedule sometimes has me working 1-2 days a week. I can change those days around raid times.)
6: What is your guild history and why did you leave each guild, also post any relevant references? Guild history- The Bulge-Tich The Orly Factor- Deathwing. The two raiding guilds I have been in since WotLK. I left The Bulge after core raiders left, i transfered to The Orly Factor and raided for a while. The guild then broke down due to people not showing up. Haven't raided seriously since.
7: Tell us about yourself: I'm 17, attending Highschool. I live in a ski town so I love to ski and enjoy the outdoors. I also enjoy doing flips etc. on skis.
8: Hardware/Connection: Computer not as good as i want it to be, but i make sure to keep it running/no internet problems at all
9: Combatlogs (for various roles if applicable, link the entire report not an individual fight):None
10: Screen shot of your UI in a raid situation: I will link later if requested, i use popptisse's UI from ensidia:
http://ensidia.com/community/post/3936/?page=3I have read and understand the guild policies as stated and am agreeing to adhere to them. I understand that filling out an application is not a guarantee to a Raid Trial.
