1: Explain how you see your role in a raid and what you use to fill that role. (class strengths, glyphs, mods, talent spec, etc.), also do you have any off-spec experience?
My strengths as a restoration druid revolve around my ability to heal a large number of people very effectively, while not losing as much as other raid healers by having to switch mid-fight to healing a single target, which makes me very useful on fights such as Festergut that alternate between heavy raid damage and heavy tank damage. The buffs I bring to a raid are Gift of the Wild, a battle rez, an Innervate that I can spread around on most fights, Tree of Life Aura, and Revitalize.
I use the glyph of Swiftmend, both to save GCDs and mana during parts of the fight where both are stressed, as that's most likely to be the time I would use Swiftmend. I use the Glyph of Wild Growth because improving a spell that should be used every cooldown when healing matters is a no brainer. My last glyph is currently Rapid Rejuvenation because in 25 mans I run with another Resto Druid, making the drawback of Rapid Rejuvenation, that it limits the number of targets I can keep Rejuvenation on, significantly less of a drawback. If I was the only Resto Druid in a raid, I would probably switch Rapid Rejuvenation over to the glyph of Nourish if I was going to spending time healing the tanks, but if i was just going to be raid healing, or if there was another Resto Druid in the raid, I would probably continue to use Rapid Rejuvenation, as Rejuvenation is the strongest spell I can cast every GCD, and being able to cast it more often, and more re-actively, makes it better than the mp5 I would gain from the glyph of Innervate, and I hardly ever cast Regrowth, making that glyph almost useless. Similarly, I find the glyph of rejuvenation doesn't proc nearly as often as I had expected when I did have it glyphed, making it fairly bad as well.
I'm specced 11/0/60, because I don't truly believe the haste from Celestial focus to be worth the seven talent points, and because I don't like the feel of healing with regrowth. I'm currently gemming runed in red sockets, reckless in yellow sockets, and purified in blue sockets, although my gear nearly has enough passive spirit and mp5 to make it so I can switch over to just using 1 purified to activate my meta gem. I read the EJ druid forums for trinket comparisons, since most non trinket BiS items are just the highest item level pieces available that give me a 4set bonus, and have haste and spirit for offset pieces.
The relevant addons I use for healing are:
Grid - I use mouseover macros rather than clique, so grid works better for me than vuhdo or healbot
PowerAuras - My favorite of all the proc and cooldown tracking mods I've tried
DXE - Obligatory boss mod
Bartender - Default UI takes up too much room
For my feral spec, my strengths as a DPS in a raid are my high DPS and my ability to tank in an emergency since I am crit immune from talents. My strengths as a tank are the ability to switch forms and do solid DPS for fights like festergut or putricide where the offtank spends long periods of time not getting hit.The buffs I bring are Gift of the Wild, Mangle for the 30% bleed debuff, Improved Leader of the Pack, a battle rez, and an Innervate.
The glyphs I use for DPS are Savage Roar, Rip, and Shred, because no other glyphs give the DPS boost they do. The glyphs I use for tanking are Survival Instincts, Frenzied Regeneration, and Growl, because missing a taunt is a lot worse than not having Cleave.
My spec for DPS is 0/55/16, choosing to put points into Feral Instinct and Nurturing instinct instead of Feral Aggression, because Ferocious Bite is such a small part of my damage, and getting overeager on when the right times to use it are wrecks my DPS. My tanking spec is 0/60/11, putting points into Feral Aggression and Infected Wounds so that I provide the most important tanking debuffs on my target myself, rather than relying on the right group composition, as not providing those debuffs is a good deal worse than the 5% threat I'd gain from moving my talent points elsewhere. I use Rawr to determine what to gem for in my DPS spec, since my stat priority for gemming seems to change with every piece of new gear I get, and I gem stamina in my tanking set. I use Rawr and the EJ forums to help determine my optimal gearsets for both specs.
The relevant raiding addons I use in my feral set are:
RoguePowerBars - So far, the best DoT timer I've found for my cat spec, although I'm not really happy with it.
PowerAuras - Still good for tracking procs and cooldowns
DXE - Obligatory boss mod, take 2
Bartender - Default UI still takes up too much room
Omen - I've had it for so long I almost forgot it doesn't come as part of the default UI
Offspec Experience:
I switch between Feral DPS and Resto often enough not to be entirely certain which one I'd rather play, I'm a fairly decent tank, although my tank set is, on the whole, pretty poor, and, while I dislike Moonkin after 3.3, I can play it passably well, and do have a terrible gear set for it.
2: What is the one thing you wish you could change about your main class or spec, either to make you more effective or to make it more enjoyable to play?
I have a gripe for every spec, but if I could only change one thing about druids, I'd want to make healing as complex as feral DPS, instead of spending about 80-90% of most fights just hitting 2 buttons. If I could change something about feral DPS, I'd give mangle a longer uptime, about what rip has now, so I didn't lose as large as portion of my DPS by being away from the target. If I could change something about feral tanking, I'd make it more about DoTs and make them harder to keep up than Lacerate is now, so you didn't have the huge change from the intricacies of feral DPS, to the facerolling whack-a-mole of feral tanking. If I could change something about moonkins, I'd get rid of eclipse, since that talent has caused so many more problems than it's worth.
3: Explain your biggest strength and biggest weakness as a raider. How are you working to improve on this weakness?
My biggest strength has got to be my versatility. Because I play all four specs of my class well, and have experience in playing other classes, I can switch to any role given time to respec and grab glyphs from the bank. Because I learn fight mechanics quickly, I can also do so on fights where one role has it radically different than another role, such as switching from melee to ranged dps on Saurfang, or moving from DPS to healing for Anub'arak. My biggest weakness, especially with the limited attempt system Blizzard is beginning to favor, is my inability to perform well in a fight I've never seen. I'm working on this by reading up as much as I can on mechanics before raid night, and watching videos if any are available, but, ultimately I don't think I'll be able to make any headway with that problem until I've experienced enough bosses to be able to relate most fight mechanics to something I've already done.
4: Explain what you look for in a raiding guild. Examples of what you did and did not like about previous raiding guilds would be helpful. Please also elaborate upon what appeals to you about this guild. If applicable, explain why you are leaving your current guild.
The biggest thing I look for in a raiding guild is if they seem to be the sort of people I'll enjoy spending 20+ hours a week hanging out with. The biggest thing I look for with regards to raiding is consistency, and that's probably the biggest problem I have with my current guild. I find nothing to be more annoying than wiping repeatedly to a boss with a low amount of RNG after beating it last week because a couple people essential to the kill last week couldn't show up, and their replacements were vastly less skilled, or geared, or just weren't up to the job for whatever reason. Other things I'm looking for are people that are just generally good at the game and looking to get better, and people that look for more out of raiding than just killing bosses to get purples so that three months down you can kill bigger bosses to get shinier purples. I also don't think I could stand a guild that was full of people that were just ok with being bad, but any guild that recruits for progression will have few, if any, of these people so this is last on the list. The reason I'm leaving my current guild is that, out of all the things I'm looking for, all they have going is that we typically bring people to raids that I enjoy hanging out with on vent.
5: Detail your availability. How frequently do you miss raids? How frequently will you be late or need to leave early? What do you do when you are not raiding?
I can be consistently available for every raid night you schedule, and I'll have to leave early or arrive late even more rarely than I won't be able to make it, and I'll be able to let an officer know a few days to a week in advance of any days I'll need to miss. When I'm not raiding, but in WoW I'm probably semi-afk making money on the AH while working on homework, although I do occasionally PvP and I'm working my way towards getting my Insane title about a week before Cataclysm gets rid of all those old rep factions.
6: What is your guild history and why did you leave each guild, also post any relevant references?
My first guild was AEngelus De Nex, which is a mostly social/levelling guild on Ravencrest, and I left them because I wanted to raid and they never raided. From there I moved to Clown Show right about when ToC hard modes were unlocked. While in CS we cleared Tribute to Skill 10 man, and a bunch of normal modes in ToC and ICC, and a few ulduar hard modes once we massively outgeared the encounters. I'm leaving Clown Show mostly to pursue a guild that has the roster to clear 25mans, does progression content in the patch it was released in, and has more than a half dozen people show up every week.

7: Tell us about yourself:
I'm currently a student living in northern Michigan, and I'll be moving in may to a four year college to finish my degree. I'm working towards a degree in physics, with a minor in computer science. I'm currently not working and living off of scholarships and loans to focus on school. In my spare time, when I'm not playing WoW or hanging out, I play the guitar rather badly, and do yoga to stay in shape.
8: Hardware/Connection:
Hardware is a 2.66 GHz Quad-Core processor with 8GB DDR2 800 RAM, 2 Nvidia GeForce 9600 GTs running together with SLI, and an SSD with WoW and Windows 7 on it. As long as I don't leave all my questing and auctioning addons on, I get 30+ FPS in 25 mans with Ultra settings. My connection 10Mbs provided by charter, and I run with between 50 and 200ms latency on a normal night.
9: Combatlogs (for various roles if applicable, link the entire report not an individual fight):
