1: Explain how you see your role in a raid and what you use to fill that role. (class strengths, glyphs, mods, talent spec, etc.), also do you have any off-spec experience?
I had raided in BC as shadow for almost the entire expansion, I have experience playing holy in every raid except ICC. I can play it if I'm needed to, but I prefer disc. As for my Disc spec, It's the standard 57/14, you can find a link
here. The glyphs are I use for my pve spec is: Power Word: Shield, I use it because I usually shield the raid when they are taking damage to prevent damage, and that heal is nice because it can crit and proc Divine Aegis. Flash Heal, I usually find myself flashing between penance/pom cooldowns. Penance, why wouldn't you get this glyph as disc? My current professions are: Jewelcrafting: I chose this because I believe this is the best profession out there currently. The optimization this profession provides is amazing. Engineering: I have this profession because of it is the best for pvp, and I feel that rocket boots are very clutch in some situations, like Anub'Arak kiting.
2: What is the one thing you wish you could change about your main class or spec, either to make you more effective or to make it more enjoyable to play?
No, not really. I really enjoy the priest class as it is, many fun things you can do as any spec as long as you have some imagination. Just this past week I had been exploring many different places with the levitate bug/glitch. I also really enjoy pvping as disc.
3: Explain your biggest strength and biggest weakness as a raider. How are you working to improve on this weakness?
I always have good positioning. I anticipate up-coming situations such as having to PS/GS a tank, like on General Vezax when he does Surge of Darkness. I also rarely make mistakes, and I don't ever repeat the same mistake. The biggest weakness of mine is I get bored with content like ToC/Ulduar, but ICC looks promising. I'm trying to find new ways to think of raiding so I don't get disinterested in content.
4: Explain what you look for in a raiding guild. Examples of what you did and did not like about previous raiding guilds would be helpful. Please also elaborate upon what appeals to you about this guild. If applicable, explain why you are leaving your current guild.
The first thing I usually look for is if I mesh well with the guild. I want a guild who can have fun that also can down bosses without screaming at each other. Well, my current guild isn't really a raiding guild, just kind of a pals guild.
5: Detail your availability. How frequently do you miss raids? How frequently will you be late or need to leave early? What do you do when you are not raiding?
I will be starting class soon, but it shouldn't really be too much of an issue. When I'm not usually raiding, I'm usually with friends or family.
6: What is your guild history and why did you leave each guild, also post any relevant references?
zZq: I had raided with them for quite some time in BC, I cleared BT/MH with them and went 2/6 SWP. I had also done Lady Vashj and Kael'Thas before 3.0 as well. I had quit because there were a few issues with a member and I.
Scripted Encounter: I did Algalon 10/25, various ulduar hardmodes, and insanity 10 man with them. I was 4/5 ToGC 25 with them as well, I quit the day before they killed Anub'Arak. I left because I just didn't have the time to raid, it shouldn't be a problem now.
7: Tell us about yourself:
My name's Santos, I enjoy many different times of games, so if you play any games like Tekken, CS, or anything else like that I'm down to play.
8: Hardware/Connection:
My PC isn't great, but it's good enough to raid. My internet connection is very steady and I rarely DC, if I do I usually just restart my modem and do not have any issues.
9: Combatlogs (for various roles if applicable, link the entire report not an individual fight):
I don't have any since I haven't raided for quite some time.
10: Screen shot of your UI in a raid situation:
I don't have any recent screenshots of my UI in a raid setting, but here is a link of my current
UII have read and understand the guild policies as stated and am agreeing to adhere to them. I understand that filling out an application is not a guarantee to a Raid Trial.
