Character Name:
Aevii
Age:
1
Armory Link:
Click (Also, my gear was gemmed for holy.)
1: Explain how you see your role in a raid and what you use to fill that role. (class strengths, glyphs, mods, talent spec, etc.), also do you have any off-spec experience?
I had raided in BC as shadow for almost the entire expansion, I have experience playing holy in every raid except ICC. I can play it if I'm needed to, but I prefer disc. As for my Disc spec, It's the standard 57/14, you can find a link here. The glyphs are I use for my pve spec is: Power Word: Shield, I use it because I usually shield the raid when they are taking damage to prevent damage, and that heal is nice because it can crit and proc Divine Aegis. Flash Heal, I usually find myself flashing between penance/pom cooldowns. Penance, why wouldn't you get this glyph as disc? My current professions are: Jewelcrafting: I chose this because I believe this is the best profession out there currently. The optimization this profession provides is amazing. Engineering: I have this profession because of it is the best for pvp, and I feel that rocket boots are very clutch in some situations, like Anub'Arak kiting.

2: What is the one thing you wish you could change about your main class or spec, either to make you more effective or to make it more enjoyable to play?
No, not really. I really enjoy the priest class as it is, many fun things you can do as any spec as long as you have some imagination. Just this past week I had been exploring many different places with the levitate bug/glitch. I also really enjoy pvping as disc.

3: Explain your biggest strength and biggest weakness as a raider. How are you working to improve on this weakness?
I always have good positioning. I anticipate up-coming situations such as having to PS/GS a tank, like on General Vezax when he does Surge of Darkness. I also rarely make mistakes, and I don't ever repeat the same mistake. The biggest weakness of mine is I get bored with content like ToC/Ulduar, but ICC looks promising. I'm trying to find new ways to think of raiding so I don't get disinterested in content.

4: Explain what you look for in a raiding guild. Examples of what you did and did not like about previous raiding guilds would be helpful. Please also elaborate upon what appeals to you about this guild. If applicable, explain why you are leaving your current guild.
The first thing I usually look for is if I mesh well with the guild. I want a guild who can have fun that also can down bosses without screaming at each other. Well, my current guild isn't really a raiding guild, just kind of a pals guild.

5: Detail your availability. How frequently do you miss raids? How frequently will you be late or need to leave early? What do you do when you are not raiding?
I will be starting class soon, but it shouldn't really be too much of an issue. When I'm not usually raiding, I'm usually with friends or family.

6: What is your guild history and why did you leave each guild, also post any relevant references?
zZq: I had raided with them for quite some time in BC, I cleared BT/MH with them and went 2/6 SWP. I had also done Lady Vashj and Kael'Thas before 3.0 as well. I had quit because there were a few issues with a member and I.

Scripted Encounter: I did Algalon 10/25, various ulduar hardmodes, and insanity 10 man with them. I was 4/5 ToGC 25 with them as well, I quit the day before they killed Anub'Arak. I left because I just didn't have the time to raid, it shouldn't be a problem now.

7: Tell us about yourself:
My name's Santos, I enjoy many different times of games, so if you play any games like Tekken, CS, or anything else like that I'm down to play.

8: Hardware/Connection:
My PC isn't great, but it's good enough to raid. My internet connection is very steady and I rarely DC, if I do I usually just restart my modem and do not have any issues.

9: Combatlogs (for various roles if applicable, link the entire report not an individual fight):
I don't have any since I haven't raided for quite some time.

10: Screen shot of your UI in a raid situation:
I don't have any recent screenshots of my UI in a raid setting, but here is a link of my current UI

I have read and understand the guild policies as stated and am agreeing to adhere to them. I understand that filling out an application is not a guarantee to a Raid Trial.

Signed,
Aevii

Doesn't look like you put much work into this app at all. I have no say if you get in or not though, so don't worry.

You are currently in PvP gear, if you could log out in PvE gear that would be great. I'm sure Vaeta will give this a look see to go more into spec/glyphs/gems/etc...

P.S. Though you were honest about getting bored with content, that's not something very attractive to a guild, it's something that will be taken into account when whomever is deciding to give you a trial or not I'm sure.

A+ for Santos. If you were to ask me I'd invite him in a second. Good friend of mine, one of the (if not the) best priests I know. There is a reason he is called Priest Slayer Aevii. Great person, awesome personality, has a great sense of humor and is liked by pretty much everyone.

Always brings the A game, makes little to no mistakes and if he does-- he won't be repeating them. Highly active in PvP, has had multiple 25-2600+ teams, going to be a gladiator for the first time this season(only first time for lack of trying in the past. :p).

tl;dr I vouch for this guy. Demon Master Relmesh™ approved priest.

There's honestly not much to reply to here, since your answers aren't very detailed. The written application is our first impression of you, so more effort would have been appreciated.

Your Sons of Hodir rep is currently at honored, which makes me cry a little. It takes ~100g to get exalted these days, my fiance just did it.

I'd suggest doing some random heroics to upgrade your rings/trinkets and get 4pc tier; and pugging ICC 10/25man to get the boss experience and combat log info that we're looking for.

Muto makes the final call on healer apps, but I'd vote for you to re-app when you've worked on getting a bit more raid-ready (if you don't mind playing holy).

Had all those 2500-2600+ teams yet never got glad, sounds fishy to me. Pretty sure I got glad pre bc with 2350 on Rampage BG, and then for my deadly mount I was 2300+, don't remember the exact number. JUST SAYIN'

Yeah, I can get my SoH rep to exalted, I already plan on getting the friendly ring from ICC rep and one of the badge rings, this shouldn't take longer than a day. I'm going to keep pugging ToC to try and get a Solace, just hasn't worked out quite yet :[. As for the ICC experience, I don't think I'd have any trouble doing the boss fights as long as I read the boss strategy.

It was 2512 in 2s if I'm not mistaken. I'm not sure what it was in 3s or 5s. As for TBC, I didn't PVP all that often as I raided quite a lot.

Nobody gets a raid spot just b/c they're a "friend of Relmesh"...It's actually points against him, imo.

A ToC log would work, I just suggested ICC b/c it's 2-for-1 with log parses + getting familiar with boss fights.
Just curious, why didn't you run the first wing at all?

Well, the reason behind me not running the first wing is simply, I just don't enjoy pugging content. Most of the groups that are pugs usually fall apart, and create a hassle for me to down content.

I don't know what BG you were in, but if it was this one then no, I was in this BG for some time in season four before leaving running dk/holy and bm/dk/holy with a 2300+ rating and was in fourth place in 2s and third place in 3s. After season four the cap was raised which pushed people to get higher ratings for more points as well as more point to play once you were high.

I was just poking fun, not that arenas matter, but if you did in fact have teams that high, you still should of been in glad range through one of the seasons that have been in WotLK. Either way I'm kind of derailing your app, sorry. Good luck with it.

I'm almost positive gladiator cutoff in season 5 for 2v2 was 2502-2512. As for for last season, we missed the cutoff by 50 rating because my PC was unplayable, I would randomly crash because of my video card overheating. It's no problem for me, thanks.
