1: Explain how you see your role in a raid and what you use to fill that role. (class strengths, glyphs, mods, talent spec, etc.), also do you have any off-spec experience?

I'm a druid, so of course my job since Vanilla is to make other classes look better. But since BC druids have been getting buffed more and more so that they can compete with the classes that we are trying to mimic. I love healing as a tree, being able to throw rejuve on everyone and keep tanks topped with just a few hots. But what i truly love about being a druid is the dps. Ive been boomkin and ive been feral, and i know we come close to the top of the dps charts. On the other hand our dps comes with a sacrifice, as both boomkin and feral we have massive rotations that take up 100% of our time, so switching targets is often hard for us making us look bad when doing it too often.

I have had experience in BC as both a tank and a resto druid, but once i got into Wrath I've tried everything from Panzer-kin (boomkin tanking in pvp gear for the fun of it) to solo healing ulduar 10 hardmodes (with a feral druids innervate of course.). I have tanked as bear for raids as well but its just not as fun in a heroic. I have been all specs, but in my experience i have come to love my two specs of Feral dps and resto more than anything.

2: What is the one thing you wish you could change about your main class or spec, either to make you more effective or to make it more enjoyable to play?

Bring back GCD cooldown on wild growth! but no seriously(since blizz hates druids), i wouldn't mind a cheaper direct heal, 3% of my mana per nourish is sort of pushing it... On the other hand i did have the fun of making a post on MMO-Champion.com about bringing in a boomkin tanking element in cataclysm. since they're thinking of a shaman tanking idea. In cataclysm, should druids get a Spell tanking form? Panzerkins Return!

3: Explain your biggest strength and biggest weakness as a raider. How are you working to improve on this weakness?

My biggest strength is probably my spacial awareness, this has helped me tons over the years in not standing in fire (duh!) and playing Pacman during twins.
My greatest weakness on the other hand would easily be my over talkative personality that has gotten on the nerves of many in vent, I'm working on that though, ill mute my mic on my super hyper days lol.

4: Explain what you look for in a raiding guild. Examples of what you did and did not like about previous raiding guilds would be helpful. Please also elaborate upon what appeals to you about this guild. If applicable, explain why you are leaving your current guild.

Im looking for a guild that gets shit done, and has fun doing it... Ive been in some really stiff guilds and hated it, but guilds like ZZQ i enjoyed alot, but recently they have not been including me so i'm looking for a new guild. Ive noticed that you get shit done, and ive ran pugs with some of your guild members and they dont seem like assholes(people who pick fights about stupid shit), and they know how to laugh at a good joke. Im leaving my old guild only because they had me as a top healer when i joined, but then my laptop took a dump on me... I got a new computer and in 2 weeks they haven't even taken me to a 10 man.

5: Detail your availability. How frequently do you miss raids? How frequently will you be late or need to leave early? What do you do when you are not raiding?

ALWAYS, i dont work = /, and school doesn't take up too much time, so i have all night to raid(im an insomniac anyway.)
If i wont make a raid, you will have notice probably a day or two a head of time.

6: What is your guild history and why did you leave each guild, also post any relevant references?

I was in sacred mojo on Duskwood/Nesingwary but then i decided to go to The Underbog to play with the best guild on that server. i do have some friends on malganis now who can vouch for me, i was a top healer, and i was an officer in the guild that was moderately successful.

I joined Perserverance, a guild that quickly downed ulduar when it came out then the guild leader said f-it, and disband us lol. The entire guild went to Darkspear and became the Bloodlust Theroycrafters

*Edit* If you contact them about me they would know me as Franklol *Edit*

When i came here i Joined ZZQ, i was a top healer when i joined, but soon after my computer took a crap on me, and yea... they never took me again.

7: Tell us about yourself:

Im a fun lovin guy, i love all sports, follow football like a religion, i play tennis football and im 1st board on the chess team at my highschool. Name an extreme sport(within reason) and ive probably done it. oh, and i do yoga =X, keeps me fit when i not doing anything else =X. WoW wise, ive had quite alot of experience in leading raids, but my favorite has to be this "E-peen: coolest freaking thing you have done in wow." its the large wall of text half way down the page.

8: Hardware/Connection: I use a Smilodon computer case, i built my comp myself, and i have a M3A76-CM Mother board, with 6 Gigs of DDR2 ram and a Hybrid CrossfireX Not bad for a $1000 Christmas present.
9: Combatlogs (for various roles if applicable, link the entire report not an individual fight):

I unfortunatly do not have one but my screenshots below shows a recount of me topping HPS on the 2 of 3 attempts on saurfang but assigning myself(i was leading the raid) to mark healing and we only got 3 before he died so it was a good pug. I dont have any of feral, but i do about 6-8K on TOGC beasts. And i do a little bit more dps as boomkin, its just not nearly as fun.

10: Screen shot of your UI in a raid situation:

I have read and understand the guild policies as stated and am agreeing to adhere to them. I understand that filling out an application is not a guarantee to a Raid Trial.

I guess I'll reply to this since nobody else is pitching in (other than the UI comments).

You have some blue gems in your gear still, as well as the sub-par enchants (low haste on cloak/regen on chest instead of +10 stats). Why did you choose the 25sp + 2% int meta over the Insightful (mana proc) and the leg enchant with stamina instead of spirit?

Your spec link isn't working for me, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume it's what Prax/Never run with.

How do you heal? Broad question, but I don't see any keybinds on your UI other than middle-mouse. Do you click your spells? I hope you don't run with the logs on your left side open 24/7, that's a lot of screen space you're losing.

We currently have two resto druids in our raid roster and I'm not sure if we need another, maybe Mohtang would want you to re-app as feral. Either way, someone should get back to you soon. GL.

Im gonna start with a thank you, lol. I got those gems when i was broke, and never replaced them not realizing i had them, ive replaced them now. As for the SP/%int gem... ive had some really bad experiences with RNG on the chance on mana gem.
Allow me to elaborate, two or 3 weeks after TOC 1st game out i was with my guild and we did the usual 3.5 hour ulduar and hopped over to TOC, but during both of these raids, i never got even 1 of the mana proc's and i dropped that gem and have been using this since. This wasnt a 1 time thing though, i usualy only got like 3 per night. the leg enchant, yea again i was totaly broke the night i got those and i had a stash of the stamina ones from when my friend quit recently, i have also fixed that(again not realizing i never fixed it once i got more gold.

Yes it is their same spec, and im sorry, the talent calculator isnt working for me for some reason, when i click get the link firefox keeps getting an error.

I'm going to assume that you dont want a quote from question 1, and you just want something on my bindings.

let me start with NO, i dont click lol, i have a few fun macro's that i click out of combat, drinking yadda yadda, but all of my abilities other than my main 4 heals are hidden(just so i can see the gcd and dont wear the letters off my keyboard like i did the last one) by Dominos. ALL abilities i use in combat are bound to either my mouse or `-5 with shift and alt of course.

Now about the charts, no i do not run with them open like that 24/7. In DPS races(like patchwerk shown in the ss) i will have open my recount and dps chart. Omen on the other hand is always open just so i know where to throw an emergency heal if an over zealous dps pushes it a little too far.

I would be perfectly fine with an alt spot as a resto druid as long as i got to at least run 10 mans with you(my guild leaves me out every run for their alts who "need gear more") and haven't seen me on my new computer.

I also would not mind a boomkin feral dps or tanking spot. My boomkin set might need a little work, and my tanking set would need a lot of work, but i can definatly hold my own as feral dps in any situation(as i said before though, target switching kills my dps but i do it when we need that extra burst). I have done both in T6, and ive dont all 4 specs at the start of wrath, choosing my two favorites, but im up for anything.

Vaeta covered some good stuff. I can't see your gear, of course, but, as resto, where do you stand on haste (in regard to the soft cap)? 14/0/57 is the regular build, as you mentioned, though I found I was still short on haste. Are you at the soft cap, or are you less concerned with it?

That's just my quick question for now :D

i assume by what you mean by the haste cap is the 1 second hard cap on gcd.
if that is wat you mean, then im over haste cap. for if i were in a 10 man and had no air totem, or boomkin for 3%, i could lower this, but ive been getting it as high as possible because recently I have been without a guild to run with. so i have had to make adjustments to do the BEST i can do, basicly alone, because i dont know what i grouping with in a pug

So on what i got from your question, im fine on the haste cap. if i got into the guild and found out what i was running with, i would lower it a little bit for something else like int or crit, whichever is better right now(idk which is ive been stacking haste for 2 seasons lol.)

*edit* I'm doing a TOC 25 as feral right now, ill get a screenshot of recount once im done and post it as a proof that i know what im doing as feral too. *edit*
